R.I.S.E. is a personal wellness app operated by Sober Media™ ("Sober Media", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the app, you agree to these terms, and you are contracting with Sober Media™. Use R.I.S.E. to track your routines, meals, habits, and structure. Be kind to yourself, be honest with your data, and don't try to break the app for others.
You need an account to use R.I.S.E. Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK).
You may use R.I.S.E. for your own personal wellness tracking. You may not:
R.I.S.E. is a self-tracking tool, not a medical device. Meal logging and calorie estimates are approximations. Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional, or mental-health advice. Always speak to a qualified professional for anything clinical.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
This means that when you subscribe, your purchase contract for the payment itself is with Paddle, and Paddle handles checkout, billing, payment methods, currency, sales tax/VAT, invoicing, cancellations, and refunds. Those mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Sober Media™ remains responsible for providing the R.I.S.E. service itself under these terms.
R.I.S.E. offers a 7-day free trial, then $5.99/month or $39.99/year. You will not be charged until the trial ends, and we email you before the first payment. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can cancel anytime from your profile, from your Paddle receipt at paddle.net, or by emailing us. Prices are in USD unless otherwise shown at checkout, and applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.
Refunds are handled by Paddle in line with our Refund Policy.
The habits, meals, notes, and photos you log stay yours. You grant us only the permissions we need to store, display, and back up that data so the app works for you.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk. On deletion, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
R.I.S.E. is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sober Media™ isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
